Behind This Side

Hi, I’m Ange.

After over a decade working across marketing and UX/UI design, I now focus on what I enjoy most: helping businesses build a clear, confident online presence.

I’ve been lucky to work with incredible Australian brands like Bonds, Jockey, Berlei, and Chemist Warehouse, but I’ve found the most fulfilment in collaborating directly with founder-led businesses and smaller teams.

With This Side, I bring together marketing and technical expertise to help businesses communicate clearly and present themselves professionally online. And I might be a little biased, but I believe the process of getting there should feel clarifying, rewarding, and even enjoyable.

Based in the Hepburn Shire, Victoria, and working with businesses across Australia and beyond.

This Side's Values

What guides the work

Clarity over complexity

I believe good work should make things easier to understand, not harder. Every design decision should have a clear purpose and help people quickly grasp what a business does and why it matters.

Function before form

Design without strategy is just decoration. I focus on structure, flow, and intent first, so the final result looks good because it works, not the other way around.

Honest, collaborative process

I work best in close collaboration, with open conversations and steady progress. No jargon, no pressure – just clear guidance and thoughtful decision-making along the way.

Care for the long term

I design and build websites with longevity in mind. That means considering how things will be used, updated, and maintained well beyond launch.

Beyond the Studio

Creativity beyond client work

Stepping away from the screen is an important part of how I work. When I’m not working, I spend time on creative projects and hands-on pursuits that keep me curious and engaged. That balance shapes how I notice details, think through problems, and show up in my work.
